Wild Sanctuary
Magic - they say it doesn’t exist. They say it’s ‘woo-woo’, ‘crazy talk’ or a ‘trick of the eye’.
But have you ever stopped to look at the detail in life?
The way an ebbing tide slowly ripples backwards, the stones and shells gently slipping away, leaving striations in the sand.
A true masterpiece, that only ever exists once.
Or, have you ever stopped to wonder at the beauty of a bluebell?
The deep blue or purple hues. The delicate petals. The magnificent scent teasing your senses.
Or, have you ever stopped to marvel at the magnificence of seabirds?
The majesty, power and precision of a Gannet diving for fish.
The shy, playful puffin, scurrying across a clifftop to find its burrow.
And the wholesome call, that ‘deeb, deeb, ‘deeb’, of the Oystercatcher as it flies along the shore.
If you stop, slow down and connect with the truth of what’s around you,
You’d realise deep in your heart, that it’s all in the detail.
The beauty of this world can be seen; but the magic, is felt.
